2016 PDC Summit

1054 - The Interpretation Clinic

Mar 22, 2016 3:00pm ‐ Mar 22, 2016 4:00pm

Description

The AHJ’s code interpretation process of a code ‘event’ is often clouded in mystery of what information is needed, format, response timeframe, and how ‘strict’ will the AHJ adhere to the code vs. a ‘friendly’ interpretation. AHJ’s and designers bring a wealth of experience, biases, past code experiences, and their own individual processes to each situation. This Lecture/Panel will gather the participants together to understand what is required (information and format) to achieve a successful interpretation.
