Although health care facility professionals have tried various methods to advance in their organizations, these methods are rarely successful. We believe our logic is clear and we have crucial expertise, but our value often isn’t recognized at the C-suite level. The ASHE Board is working to address this issue, in large part by partnering with other American Hospital Association (AHA) Professional Membership Groups (PMGs). This session discusses the ongoing learning required to move up through health care facility management and across an organization.
