Brennan resides in Plainfield, Indiana and has been with DNV since 2010. He has performed over 400 surveys for DNV and has surveyed hospitals in 43 states throughout the United States in addition to numerous speaking engagements at Regional and National Conferences. Brennan is also an active member of the Healthcare Interpretations Task Force, (HITF), with NFPA.
Brennan holds a Bachelors’ Degree from Indiana University – Indianapolis and is a Certified Healthcare Facilities Manager (CHFM) and a Certified Healthcare Operations Professional (CHOP). In addition to development and training, he is the Administrator of the CHOP Certification Programs offered by DNV Healthcare. He is also a certified Lead Auditor for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, a certified NIAHO® Lead Surveyor with several years as a Sector Leader. Since 2020, Brennan is also the Head of Surveyor Development and oversees System Surveys & Special Projects for DNV Healthcare. As of 2022, he is the Program Manager for Acute Care/CAH Services for DNV Healthcare.
