Mary Alcaraz, PE, LC, LEED AP, a Senior Facilities Project Manager and Electrical Engineer at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), has over 25 years’ experience in the design and construction of healthcare facilities. She has written numerous articles, won awards for designs, and spoken internationally on healthcare infrastructure topics. She is a member of the American Society of Healthcare Engineer’s ASHE Members Tool Task Force and the Illuminating Engineering Society’s IESNA Healthcare Committee.
