Mr. Buschman has a B.S. in Fire Protection Engineering from the University of Maryland. He is experienced in the application of government and national fire protection and life safety standards to existing and new facilities. His work experience includes fire and building code analysis, fire suppression and alarm systems design and construction administration, plan review, healthcare Statement-of-Conditions survey and analysis to evaluate compliance with NFPA 101®, and general fire protection code consulting.
Mr. Buschman is currently a member of the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), Society of Fire Protection Engineers (SFPE), and Society of American Military Engineers (SAME). He also serves as an alternate technical committee member for NFPA 3, Recommended Practice for Commissioning of Fire Protection and Life Safety Systems as well as NFPA 4, Standard for Integrated Fire Protection and Life Safety Testing.
