Lives in the greater Washington, DC, area. A native of North Carolina, she started her
healthcare career at WakeMed in Raleigh, and worked with several other health systems
before moving into the world of management consulting. Judy has devoted her career and
significant personal time to improving health environments and acting on her passion for women and children’s healthcare. She is a founding member of the Recommended Standards for NICU Design group, participated on numerous FGI Guidelines Committees, and serves on several non-profit boards and is a frequent speaker and published author. Her extensive consulting experience includes completing more than 900 projects in the United States (US) and internationally. She has used simulation modeling as a valuable tool since 1997.
