Kendall Hall MD, MS

Scientific Director, MedStar SiTEL, MedStar Health

Kendall K. Hall, MD, MS, is the scientific director for the MedStar Simulation Training and Education Laboratory (MedStar SiTEL), MedStar’s education technology group. In this role, she is the scientific lead and liaison for SiTEL research, including projects involving the use of simulation and serious games. Dr. Hall previously was a medical officer in the Center for Quality Improvement and Patient Safety, Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ), where she developed and managed initiatives to improve patient safety and reduce harm. She is certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine, and she is a fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians. Her research, on topics ranging from healthcare-associated infections and patient safety within emergency departments to the impact of healthcare facility design on safety, has been published in numerous peer-reviewed journals, including the Journal of the American Medical Association, Infection Control and Hospital Epidemiology, and Critical Care Medicine.
