Daniel Kerls

Director of Ambulatory Operations, CVS/minuteclinic

Daniel R. Kerls, MBA, OTR/L is the Director of Ambulatory Operations for CVS/minuteclinic and has held this position for three years.  In this position, he is responsible for the strategic and day to day operations of over 970 clinics throughout the country.  He leads a team that oversees clinic design, equipment procurement, laboratory management, patient experience, operational efficiency and quality and safety.  He has extensive experience with leading both inpatient and outpatient services within hospital systems, as well as formal training in process improvement.  He has previously held positions at Massachusetts General Hospital, Spaulding Rehabilitation Network and Newton-Wellesley Hospital.  He is also a registered occupational therapist.  Mr. Kerls received his MBA in Healthcare and Strategic Management from Boston College, a Master’s in Occupational Therapy from New York University, where he also received a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology.
