John Andrews is a senior project manager with 32 years of experience. He oversees a multidisciplinary team of architects, engineers, planners, and designers, serving as healthcare market sector leader for LEO A DALY’s Omaha office. His vast project management experience ranges from small clinic renovations to new large greenfield hospitals, and encompasses all phases of design including programming, master planning, schematic design, design development, contract documents, and construction contract administration.
He is currently project manager for Zayed Military Hospital in Abu Dhabi, an 872,793-SF facility that will serve as the premiere hospital for the UAE’s armed forces. He recently completed his duties as project manager for Alegent Health’s $150 million “New Era Initiative,” which targeted major improvements for three existing hospitals and the new 200,000-GSF Lakeside Hospital. He also served as project manager for The Nebraska Medical Center on a 20-year contract involving over 500 task orders, including the newly completed $44 million Hixson-Lied Center, and the largest biocontainment patient care unit in the United States.
