Jennifer Bartholomew

Director, Planning and Construction, UNMC/Nebraska Medicine

Jennie Bartholomew has worked at Nebraska Medicine since 2003.  She has a BS in Industrial Engineering and a MBA with an emphasis on Executive Leadership from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.  She started with Nebraska Medicine as a Management Engineer in the Six Sigma Department.  Since then she has held various roles within the Operations Improvement Department and recently within Facilities Management and Planning.  During this time she has led the following projects:  Medication Reconciliation, Implementation of Nursing Electronic Documentation, Design of Oncology Patient Floor, Campus Facilities Master Plan, Supply Chain Management, Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center, Lauritzen Outpatient Center, among others.

Currently, she is leading a several million dollar capital program for Nebraska Medicine and the University of Nebraska Medical Center, as the Director of Facilities Planning and Construction.  Her team is responsible for all planning and design efforts for the clinical, academic, and research missions of the enterprise.
