Virginia’s specialization in healthcare architecture gives her insight into the facility, operational and clinical issues that influence design decisions. As healthcare planner and programmer, she works closely with users to distill their needs into efficient and effective space plans. Her collaborative approach encourages discussion and fact-finding to fully vet issues early in the design process. Virginia’s clients include BJC HealthCare, McDonough District Hospital, St. Thomas Health System, and SSM Health Care. Her speaking experience includes corporate-wide, accredited educational sessions, professional architectural presentations to local review boards, large client user group engagements, and community theater.
