Edwin Beltran NCIDQ, IIDA, Assoc. AIA

Principal / Designer, NBBJ

As a design leader of NBBJ’s interior architecture and design practice, Edwin has led some of the firm’s most notable and award-winning healthcare interiors. Influenced by his training as an architect and keen eye for interior design, Edwin’s approach to design translates client goals into comprehensive, conceptual frameworks in which form, function, space, light, color, materials, and human experience are thoughtfully choreographed to embody the unique “ethos” of each institution. In more than 16 years of design experience, he has also worked nationally and internationally on large mixed-use buildings and institutional campuses, as well as commercial and hospitality interiors. His design work has been recognized with multiple AIA Honor awards and featured in national and international publications such as Architectural Record, Interior Design, Metropolis, Contract Magazine and World Architecture News. He has also served as an adjunct faculty member at the Ohio State University’s Knowlton School of Architecture, where he led design studios and continues to be a guest critic. Additionally, Edwin has served as a guest critic for design reviews at the Catholic University of America, Illinois Institute of Technology, the University of Puerto Rico and the Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico.
