Stasia Czech Suleiman, NCIDQ, IIDA, is a Vice President and Senior Project Interior Designer at HOK who has dedicated her career to designing impactful educational and healthcare environments. Her expertise allows her to provide clients with innovative, sustainable and holistic design solutions that transform and advance the way they do business. She leads and oversees marketing efforts for the firm’s Columbus office and leads design efforts on complex healthcare projects across the nation. Stasia has led the interior design for some of the world’s largest and most forward-thinking healthcare, civic and educational design projects in her career, including Southeast Louisiana Veterans Health Care System Replacement Medical Center, The Columbus Metropolitan Library and The Koo Foundation Discovery and Education Pavilion in Taiwan, Taipei. Her award-winning work has been recognized by the American Institute of Architects, Modern Healthcare Award of Excellence and an International Interior Design Award, among others. Her design work has been noted by top publications – including Interior Design Magazine, Architectural Record and Metropolis – and she’s a frequent speaker on trends in healthcare design, future thinking and best practices. As an industry thought leader, she’s a frequent presenter at industry conferences including NeoCon and Labs 21 Annual Conference and has served as a guest juror for Columbus College of Art & Design (CCAD) and IIDA’s ED Spaces Awards. Stasia is actively involved in IIDA, previously serving as the co-director of the Columbus, Ohio City Center Chapter. Stasia is a graduate of Miami University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts; Interior Design.
