Bill Hercules empowers healthcare leadership teams to shape their future places of care. Having planned and/or executed architecture totaling 34.6-MSF and $12.35-Bpv, Bill’s bold cross-disciplinary ideation accelerates mission alignment and attracts the future. More than 10 years ago, Bill founded WJH Health, a global consultancy that resolves the place of care at the nexus of mission, performance, and experience.

His passion for applied learning has elevated him to be the only practicing global triple-Fellow in the American Institute of Architects (AIA), the American College of Healthcare Architects (ACHA), and the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE). He is a global expert in healthcare design with more than 140 printed and spoken publications, having been quoted in industry and popular press, and he has supported almost 40 professionals in pursuit of advanced fellowships and certifications.

He is a past president of the ACHA, recently led the Well-being study for the national AIA Strategic Council, served on two international COVID Rapid Response Taskforces, and will co-chair the AIA/AGC Joint Committee to deepen the link between design and construction. He is currently leading a research team pioneering the intersection of healthcare design and bioethics, and he recently produced a 7-part series on design and finance. And in 2023, he was appointed a Senator of the World Business Angels Forum, an affiliate of the G20.
