Richie Stever serves as the Vice President of Real Estate and Construction at the University of Maryland Medical System (UMMS), overseeing operations across its 12 hospitals. His role encompasses real estate management, construction projects, property management, emergency planning, and sustainability initiatives throughout the organization. With a Master’s in Healthcare Administration from the University of Maryland Global Campus, Richie brings extensive expertise to his position. He is a Senior member of the American Society for Health Care Engineering (ASHE) and currently serves as chair of the ASHE’s Member Tools Committee (MTC). Recognized for his contributions, Richie received the Facility Executive of the Year award in 2019 and was honored by Building Operating Management magazine in 2021. Beyond his professional achievements, Richie is passionate about bass fishing, guiding, and volunteering with Heroes on the Water, an organization supporting veterans through outdoor activities.
