Christopher Kobus is a Data Analyst at the University of Washington Medical Center in Seattle, WA. His work is directed towards the field of environmental-infection prevention with emphasis on the analysis of environmental data, healthcare facility risk assessment and mitigation planning, and administration of the required CMS/TJC Water Management Plan. Mr. Kobus earned his Bachelors-BA in Health Administration and Policy, and Masters-MS in Emergency Health Services from the UMBC-University of Maryland, Baltimore County in 2006. He then became a Registered Nurse-Infection Preventionist in 2009 and has worked in this capacity until 2020 where he joined the UWMC Operations and Maintenance team as an analyst. Mr. Kobus is credentialed in Infection Control-CIC by the Certification Board for Infection Control and Epidemiology, holds RN Licensure in the State of Washington, and currently sits on the Executive Board for the APIC-Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology, Puget Sound Chapter.
