Jim is the Chief Operating Officer and a Reliability Coach with FORUM Reliability. As a Reliability Coach, Jim has been providing education, guidance, and direction in reliability, physical asset management, asset condition assessments, and data management for more than 45 years. He has coached organizations on their reliability journey in the power generation, manufacturing, healthcare, corporate campuses, critical environments, and higher education market segments throughout the country.
Jim is a veteran of the US Navy’s Nuclear Propulsion Program and a graduate of The College of Emporia. He is a Black Belt Certified Reliability Leader and a Category III Vibration Analyst. He is a member of The Vibration Institute, The Institute for Asset Management, and the American Society of Healthcare Engineers. He serves as a volunteer leader with the Association of Asset Management Professionals, providing guidance for the CRL Mastery Belt Program and the development of standards for Reliability Coaching.
Jim is also a content contributor and author for the ASHE RCM Monograph
He has written training manuals, papers, standards, and has presented in the fields of reliability, asset management, digital analytics, and competency-based learning programs for ASHE and ASHE state organizations, The Reliability Conference, and the International Maintenance Conference.
