David Tepper, AIA, is a Principal at Ennead Architects and leads the firm’s healthcare practice. He works with the leadership of major healthcare systems to define priorities, align real-estate assets with strategic objectives, and build consensus among internal and external stakeholders.
David's expertise in strategic planning, master planning, and campus infrastructure has been developed on some of the largest and most complex healthcare projects in the Northeast. David led the planning and design team for NYU Langone Health’s ten-year Campus Transformation initiative, including the development of 1.2 million square feet of new clinical, education, and research space in Midtown Manhattan. He has particular expertise in resilience for shoreline structures and essential facilities and has worked with healthcare systems to plan for continued climate change, retrofit existing infrastructure, and establish standards for mission-critical facilities.
He received a Master of Architecture degree from Harvard University and a Bachelor of Arts from Columbia University. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects, the Society for Campus and University Planning, and the ULI Health Leadership Network.
