Kathleen (Kat) is the Director of Utilities and Energy Managment at Temple University overseeing the University and Health System. Kat is responsible for maintaining all utility infrastructure, procurement, air quality and leveraging energy efficiency within all campuses. She works closely to help meet carbon reduction goals leveraging their Green Revolving Fund which utilizes efficiency savings and utility incentives to grow more projects. Kat has over 25 years experience in sustainability and energy management working most recently as the Energy Manager for Penn Medicine. Previously she worked as an Energy Engineer, Performance Assurance Engineer, Manager, and Sustainability Manager. Kat has worked as both a customer and a vendor in energy efficiency.
