With over 25 years of experience in all phases of the design and construction process, Mark is a recognized expert in leading teams for large-scale academic, acute care, and ambulatory healthcare facilities, particularly in California and Arizona. Having spent the last twenty years driving the design and construction of over $2 billion in hospital construction projects, he has developed a keen sense for managing risk in the design process, beginning with strategic master planning, and on through all the design phases. Mark is confident that exploring innovative ideas and solutions—early in the process—with key stakeholders and project teams, will reduce waste, yield better results and ultimately produce a better project. He is passionate about healthcare and believes that great design can both lift the human spirit and enrich society, while at the same time respecting the environment.
