I started my career in Healthcare as an Occupational Therapist. After serving as Vice President of Rehab Services and Sports Care for 10 years at ProMedica I moved into the position of Vice President of Operations for ProMedice Toledo Hospital and Toledo Children's Hospital in 2010. Toledo Hospital is a 640 bed Tertiary Care hospital and Level I trauma center serving NW Ohio and SE Michigan.Toledo Children's Hospital is a hospital wihtin a hospital and operates a 60 bed Newborn Intensive Care unit, Pediatric Intensive Care and general pediatrics. Currently ProMedica Toledo Hospital has over $400 million in construction and renovation projects in progress. This includes a build out of 10 new OR's, a new Radiology department and a $300 million dollar new bed tower.
I recently added President of ProMedica Transportation Network to my responsibilities. This includes our Air and Mobile ambulance business. We operate a fleet of 3 helicopters serving our 27 county area.
ProMedica owns 11 hospitals throughout NW Ohio and SE Michigan. As a fully integrated healthcare system ProMedica also has Paramount Insurance, ProMedica Physician Group, ProMedica Home Care and Hospice, Skilled Nursing facilities, Acute Care Rehab and OP Rehab, Ambulatory surgery centers,DME and OP Pharmacy as part of our business portfolio.
