Andy Woommavovah CHFM

Vice President, Facility Management, Construction and Sustainability, Trinity Health

Mr. Andy Woommavovah is the Vice President for Facilities, Construction and Sustainability for Trinity Health based in Livonia Michigan. The Trinity Health System includes 88 hospitals 131continuing care locations, the second largest PACE in the country, 125 urgent care locations, and many other health and well being services. Andy is responsible for developing and leading a national facilities management and construction program. Andy has over 30 years of experience in facility management and construction that he's gained from a cross-section of sectors that includes the United States Army, civil works and of course healthcare. Andy is a Certified Healthcare Facility Manager (CFHM), and is a retired United States Army Lieutenant Colonel (Engineer). He is a Veteran of Operations Iraqi Freedom and is the recipient of the Legion of Merit and Bronze Star for exceptional military service. Andy holds a Masters of Science degree from the University of Oklahoma in construction administration, a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering design, and an Associate's Degree in construction. He is a 2014 graduate of the United States Command and General Staff College where he studied Joint Military Planning and Strategic Military Leadership. Andy is an active member of his state chapter of the Kentucky Society of Healthcare Engineers (KSHE). At KSHE he has held board seats for memberships and training and is the 2024 President Elect for the Chapter. Additionally Andy spends an equal amount of time participating in the national American Society of Healthcare Engineers (ASHE), where he has participated by devoting his time and expertise to ASHE by presenting, volunteering, authoring, and coauthoring content for ASHE.
