Ms. Annette Roehl

Annette, a Healthcare Facilities Design Strategist at Froedtert ThedaCare Health, brings a blend of clinical expertise and design insight to the planning of healthcare environments. With degrees in Nursing, Architecture, and Urban Planning, she draws on over 20 years of inpatient care experience across the continuum of care. She is a certified critical care nurse, healthcare simulationist, and Mental Health First Aid instructor. Her background in evidence-based clinical practice and hospital simulation informs her current work and her contributions to the Health Guidelines Revision Committee for the Facility Guidelines Institute (FGI). Annette is also a planning partner of the Sextant Foundation’s Reimagining Workshops, a platform that brings together interdisciplinary professionals in healthcare, design, and regulation to challenge conventional practices and explore innovative solutions.
