Chris Lynch, P.E. is a founding Principal of Code Red Consultants, LLC, a fire protection and life safety code consulting firm dedicated to improving public safety in the built environment nationwide. Chris is a licensed Fire Protection Engineer in 8 states with over 18 years of experience in fire protection engineering and life safety code consulting. Specializing in healthcare environments, Chris leads project teams to develop innovative safety solutions that prioritize compliance and patient well-being in complex, regulated settings. His extensive experience spans construction/renovation projects as well as existing facility assessments, where he collaborates closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and regulatory authorities to address challenging fire protection and life safety requirements. He has a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and a Master of Science in Fire Protection Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. Chris is an active member of NFPA and SFPE and serves as the Life Safety Code sub-committee chair on the AIA Academy of Architecture for Health Codes and Standards committee.
