Mr. Edward Browne has over 40 years’ experience as a healthcare leader and consultant. He has managed security, facilities, safety, support service, and clinical departments in a wide variety of healthcare settings – from community hospitals to regional healthcare systems to tertiary teaching institutions including long term and chronic disease. Mr. Browne’s specialties also include security, physical environment, construction, emergency preparedness, hazardous materials management, food services, environmental services, and real estate. Mr. Browne has worked nationwide as physical environment consultant in diverse situations including mental health and pediatric facilities. He has implemented best practices, bringing his expertise to help healthcare facilities work through specific problems and has published numerous articles in several national publications on topics specific to our industry.
