Gina Livingston-Smith, CHID, IIDA, EDAC, LEED AP is a certified healthcare interior designer and planner with two decades of experience in healthcare design. A Senior Associate at NBBJ in Columbus, Ohio, she is recognized for her expertise in delivering human-centered design solutions that support restorative experiences for patient-families, health workers, and visitors. Her dedication to evidence-based design and continuous improvement is demonstrated by the pre- and post-occupancy research she conducts with clients, which have ranged from federally qualified health centers to acclaimed academic medical centers. Gina seeks to fuel the future of high-quality design through her work with students at Kent State University where she is an adjunct faculty member for the Master of Healthcare Design program.
