Jeff Wesner was named Chief Operating Officer of Sarasota Memorial Hospital-Venice in November 2020. Prior to the hospital's November 2021 opening, he led the transition and operational readiness planning to prepare the facility to receive patients. Jeff holds an MBA and a bachelor's degree from the University of South Florida, Tampa. Jeff began his healthcare career at Pfizer, followed by several ascending roles at HCA, including Director of Business Development, Vice President of Surgical Services, and Chief Operating Officer. His tenure was marked by achievements in operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, service line development, and strategic planning.
