Jennie Evans RN, BS, DEAC, LEED AP, LEED SIX SIGMA CE

Jennie promotes lean operational and clinically efficient environments by integrating her healthcare experience into the design process. Her experience in healthcare design has included pediatric and adult environments in the academic and private hospital setting as well as ambulatory care environments. As past president of the Nursing Institute of Healthcare Design, Jennie is passionate about improving the environment of care. Committed to evidence-based design, she has contributed to facility performance evaluations and several studies that impact patient care such as inpatient flexibility, the safety and efficiency of same-handed rooms, the use of medical gas booms in the intensive care setting and safety in the emergency department. A member of HKS Knox, Jennie is engaged in strategy, lean operational / functional planning and overall facility design.
