Mr. Joe Bolano is Vice President of Capital Projects and Facility Services for the Department of Physical Assets at Northwell Health, formerly known as North Shore-LIJ Health System. Physical Assets manages all real estate, capital projects and ambulatory facility operations for the Health System. Under his leadership, the Capital Projects and Facility Services team oversees design and construction for all capital projects, including infrastructure improvements across all 21 hospitals and related facilities. Joe joined Northwell Health in August 2013. He brings to his current role, a wealth of experience in all aspects of the Building Industry, with the majority of his career spent in healthcare facilities. Prior to joining Northwell, he worked under the Office of Real Estate at Columbia University, where he was the Director of Off-Campus Real Estate Development. Joe is a graduate of the New York Institute of Technology and has an advance degree in Construction Management from NYU.
