Kai Abelkis

Kai Abelkis is currently the sustainability manager for The University of Maryland Medical Center. A graduate of Indiana University, Kai has dedicated himself toward integrating sustainable measures in the healthcare industry for over 25 years. He is part of a growing choir that believes human health is supported by a healthy environment. He and his colleagues are currently working to decarbonize their entire organization to ensure a healthy future for our communities, families and neighbors.
