Laura Jackson

Laura Jackson is an Emergency Manager for Stanford Medicine, where she has championed disaster preparedness efforts for the last 11 years. Laura’s interest in disasters began in Boston in 2007 where she worked as an Emergency Medical Technician through college both on the ambulance and at Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital. She earned a master’s degree in Healthcare Emergency Management from Boston University in 2010 and went to work for the City of Boston's Office of Public Health Preparedness before returning home to the San Francisco Bay Area.
