Linda Gabel CHID, NCIDQ, IIDA

Linda is an in-house design and planning leader at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, promoting evidence-based design methodology and research with design consultants, administrators, and clinicians on construction projects. She leads projects from Initiation through Owner Activation/First Patient Seen to help accomplish project and operational success measures. Linda is an active founding member of AAHID and a member of the FGI 2026 Healthcare Guidelines Revision Committee. With over 39 years of practice, Linda roles included healthcare design leadership roles at NBBJ and Karlsberger. Her current research and testing of materials failures in healthcare has garnered national attention to the issues we face today.
