Dr. Lynette Kramer MD, MS-PopH

Chief Medical Officer (CMO), Boone County Health Center

Dr Lynette Kramer has been practicing full scope family medicine in rural Nebraska for 25 years, including OB, ER, Inpatient, and Ambulatory. Boone County Health Center is located in Albion, Nebraska, population 1,700. It is a Critical Access Hospital with one attached Rural Health Clinic and four additional satellite clinics located within a 25-mile radius.

Dr Kramer was named Chief Medical Officer in 2011 in response to a growing medical staff. In this role she acts as a liaison between the administrative department and medical staff. She does maintain her clinical skills while covering ER one-to-two days per week. The CMO position allows her to ensure that provider and clinical input is being considered when system-wide decisions are being made.

She is a strong advocate for attaining the Quadruple Aim in real world clinical practice and in May 2023 she completed her Master of Science in Population Health. She enjoys supporting the Nebraska Huskers, solving puzzles of any kind, and reading. Her most important hobby is spending time with her family which includes her husband Todd and three adult children Kyle (Nicole), Jenna (Tanner), and Ryan.
