Mariela Bayer’s leadership strength is found at the intersection of architecture and community.

She builds caring relationships with clients and end-users to get to the heart of their needs. Most of Mariela’s career has been based in Chicago, Illinois and yields a strong background in complex, phased renovation and new construction commercial projects. When asked what building sector type is her favorite, rather, it’s the satisfaction of serving her clients to deliver their project needs on time, on budget and with high end-user satisfaction.

Mariela Bayer was introduced to healthcare architecture through her firm’s primary clients, serving major health organizations in Chicago. She was attracted to the complexity of renovations that involved phasing and specialized equipment planning, as well as fostering relationships with clients and end-users to get to the heart of their facility needs. Mariela has obtained Project Manager Professional and Certified Document Technologist certifications to foment her professional development as a Project Architect and client manager. She is an active member of Arquitina - a national non-profit organization with a mission to raise the 1% of licensed Latina architects in the US.
