Mary Alcaraz, PE, LC, LEED AP, a Senior Facilities Project Manager with the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), has over 30 years’ experience in the design and construction of healthcare facilities. She has written numerous articles, won awards for designs, and spoken internationally on healthcare lighting and infrastructure topics. She is a member of the American Society of Healthcare Engineer’s (ASHE) Members Tool Committee, HFMADV, and the Illuminating Engineering Society’s IESNA Healthcare Committee.
