Associate Director of Interior Design, Ryan A+E, Inc.

Megan McNally is the Associate Director of Interior Design for Ryan A+E, Inc. (Design Studio of Ryan Companies US, Inc.) and is a Certified Healthcare Interior Designer (CHID) with 16 years of interior design experience. She has spent her career designing award-winning healthcare environments alongside clients such as M Health Fairview, Mercy Medical Center, Children’s Minnesota, Mayo Clinic Health System, Endeavor Health and Allina Health. In her current role at Ryan, she leads interior teams across the country on a range of inpatient, outpatient, and residential care environments. She strives to design solutions that embody the local community and mission of the health system, promote autonomy and opportunities for education and wellness, support staff retention, and address individuals' cultural and physical needs.
Megan was elected to the American Academy of Healthcare Interior Designers (AAHID) Board of Directors in 2020 and serves as President. Megan is passionate about promoting AAHID’s mission of the certification of healthcare interior designers and architects qualified by education, examination, training, and experience to provide design services to safeguard public health, safety, and welfare and to be the industry’s recognized indicator of excellence, commitment, and knowledge within acute, ambulatory, and residential care facility design.
Megan holds the Evidence-Based Design Accredited Professional (EDAC) credential from the Center for Health Design and is a Certified Interior Designer (CID) with the State of Minnesota. She has served as Adjunct Faculty at Dunwoody College of Technology and is a regular reviewer with the University of Minnesota Interior Design program. In 2023, Megan was recognized as Healthcare Design’s HCD10 in the Interior Design category.
