Meredith Slosberg

Deployment Leader, Organizational Effectiveness, Akron Children's Hospital

Meredith’s 15 years of healthcare operations background has fueled her passion for creating sustainable change. She joined Akron Children’s Hospital in 2001 as the Administrative Director for the new pediatric Heart Center.  She was the Vice President of Surgical Subspecialties for 4 years. During that time she worked closely with physician service line leaders and clinical teams to start up ENT, Plastics, Ophthalmology, and Pediatric Surgery service lines.

Two years ago she moved into her current role as Deployment Leader in the Department of Organizational Effectiveness in order to further develop leadership potential in others and to continue to create sustainable organizational change across a broader platform. She currently coaches participants (clinical and non-clinical leaders) in the hospital’s leadership academy and facilitates change engagement with the emergency department, NICU and outpatient surgery center for the $200mm Master Plan project.
