Nicole Duncan

Assistant Vice President, Advocacy & International Services, MedStar Georgetown University Hospital

With over 10 years of healthcare experience and over 10 years of experience in the hotel industry, Nicole Duncan serves as an assistant vice president for advocacy and international services at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital (MGUH) in Washington DC. In her current role she has responsibility for Patient Advocacy, Language Services, International Services, Child Life, Guest Services and Volunteer Services. Nicole is also the co-chair of the MGUH Patient & Family Advisory Council for Quality & Safety. She joined MGUH in 2013, bringing extensive experience from a large academic medical center in Michigan. In addition, Nicole works to bring the “service industry” to health care. Prior to transitioning into healthcare, Nicole worked at The Ritz-Carlton, Dearborn and The Ritz-Carlton, Palm Beach. Nicole holds a bachelors degree in marketing & multinational business from Florida State University.
