Director, Healthcar Kaizen Architecture, Herman Miller Healthcare

Mr. Call is a registered architect and is currently Director, Kaizen Architecture, for Herman Miller Healthcare. He is responsible for guiding the strategic direction for the application of continuous improvement lean initiatives within healthcare. During his previous 29 years with Herman Miller, he has had responsibilities for healthcare marketing, product management and for directing research for all areas within the healthcare environment. Prior to joining Herman Miller, Mr. Call was employed in private architectural practice with CRS of Houston, HOK of St. Louis, and The Architects Collaborative of Cambridge, MA. He has a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Rice University and a Master of Architecture from Washington University, St. Louis. He is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives, the American Institute of Architects, the Academy of Architecture for Health, where he is a past president, the Clinical Laboratory Management Association, the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists and is a LEED Accredited Professional by the U. S. Green Building Council. Mr. Call is board certified in healthcare design by the American College of Healthcare Architects and serves as secretary of the board of the Academy of Architecture for Health Foundation.
