Rutali Joshi Ph.D, EDAC

Post-Doctoral Health Research Fellow, HKS, Inc.

Rutali is a Post-doctoral Health Research Fellow at HKS. She holds a PhD as well as a MS degree in Architecture and Health from Clemson University. With a bachelor’s degree in Architecture from Mumbai University, she is also a licensed architect in India with two years of professional experience as a designer. Her skillset positions her to support the health practice at HKS by examining how the design impacts human experience, behavior, and safety. Rutali is extremely passionate about translating complex research concepts and findings to recommendations that can be implemented by architects and designers to enhance experience and improve safety in healthcare settings.
