BroadcastMed. is a processor of the information collected on this Site on behalf of American Society for Healthcare Engineering, the data controller. We will not sell, share, or rent this information to others except as disclosed in this Privacy Statement (“Statement”). BroadcastMed. (hereinafter “BroadcastMed,” “we”, “us”, “our”) collects information from users at several different points on this Site as set forth below.

Registration:By using this Site, the user agrees to provide information necessary to complete the registration process. During registration, a user is required to give their contact information (name and email address) and to create a username & password. Providing the required information is necessary for site functionality. This information may be used to contact the user about the services on our Site for which users have expressed interest and provided consent to receive related marketing communications. BroadcastMed does not require the user to provide demographic information, such as income level and gender, nor unique identifiers such as social security number.
Order:We request information from the user on our order form during the checkout process. Here a user must provide contact information (i.e., name, telephone and shipping address) and financial information (i.e., credit card number, expiration date). This information is used for billing purposes and to fill customer's orders. If we have trouble processing an order, this contact information is used to get in touch with the user.
Cookies and Tracking Technologies:A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user's hard drive containing information about the user. Cookies used on this site do not contain any personally identifiable information. The cookies used on this site are required for the site to function.
BroadcastMed uses third party tracking utilities to track end-user activity through our Site. Activity is tracked in an effort to make our site easy to navigate through, and to find out which areas of our site draw the most attention. We do not share information about individuals with anyone other than integrated third party platforms, the credit card processors and the shipping company who need the data to process orders and/or to enable us to comply with our contractual obligations. We send all new users a welcoming email to verify password and username. Established users may occasionally receive information on products, services, special deals, and a newsletter. We send the user Site and service announcement updates. Users are not able to un-subscribe from service announcements, which contain important and necessary information about the service. We communicate with the user regarding updates to our Site and service and issues relating to their account via email or phone.
